The Workshop is a service within the Base Camp of Contra: Rogue Corps.
Description
The Workshop is where a character can customize their Weapons loadout(s). The player can choose which weapons to use for their characters among their available list of weapons. There are no weapon restrictions between characters, but a character can only use one main weapon and one sub-weapon at a time.
Within the Workshop, a player can also equip their current used weapon with multiple upgrades to enhance the weapon's performance. These include equipment such as AI chips and B.A.D parts. A weapon possesses six equipment slots, meaning up to six pieces of equipment can be applied to a weapon, but the weapon also has a point limit restriction. Each equipment has a certain value of these points, and the total number of weapon parts equipped cannot exceed the weapon's limit.
A shop is available where one can purchase weapon parts, and any weapons obtained from Mission rewards. The Shop's content will be randomized each time after clearing a mission.
Development
The Rogue Corps can use any obtained Core Parts to develop additional weapons to use. Weapons can also be upgraded to a higher Grade, granting them more powerful statistics.
The prices for Developing weapons from Core Parts are as followed. Each core Part's grade will affect the Development price, with a few exceptions noted below the chart. For B.A.D requirements on weapon development or upgrade, please refer to a specific weapon's page.

The following Core Parts use a different Development price than normal:
- Drill Gun - 100 Credits (C+)
- Rear Burst - 3600 Credits (C+)
- Spread Shot = 2500 C+

Trivia
- An economical strategy players have utilized in obtaining Credits is to develop some weapons using spare B.A.D farmed and then levelling up any Developed weapons as possible, preferably using any AI chips obtained. Once high enough, the player can then sell the weapon for much more than the B.A.D and Development fee combined.
